TWO NEW NOMINATIONS FOR PREMIO LO NUESTRO
We’ve received two new nominations for the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro awards from latin broadcast channel Univision. These nominations come after years of close collaboration and admiration for the awards, which recognize excellence in latin music. In 2020, we were honored with the Global Icon award, presented by the legend Daddy Yankee.
This year, thanks to our latest album Rayo, we’ve been nominated in two categories: Best Urban Collaboration for the song "Polvo de tu Vida" featuring Chencho Corleone, and Urban Album of the Year for Rayo. "Polvo de tu Vida" was released on June 6, 2024, sparking rumors about a new album on the horizon. Alongside Chencho, we also released a futuristic, immersive music video filmed at the Museum of the Future in Dubai, where we became the first artists to shoot a music video at this iconic location.
On August 8, 2024, we released Rayo, an album that marked the beginning of this new chapter. The launch took place in Medellín during the Feria de las Flores, one of Colombia’s most important events. The event, called Rayo Motor Club, combined customized cars, unique experiences, and a high-energy performance by Jose, who shared the best of his music and Rayo with fans and attendees. The event then moved to Mexico City, where it was equally successful.

The 37th edition of Premio Lo Nuestro will take place on February 20, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Voting closes on February 4.
