J BALVIN REVEALS THE VOICE HE WILL DUB IN 'SOLO LEVELING - RISE FROM THE SHADOWS'

Recently, we announced our participation in the second season of the popular anime series Solo Leveling, which generated excitement among both fans of the series and J Balvin. Today, we are finally revealing the character whose voice we will bring to life in both English and Spanish: Kargalgan, one of the strongest bosses encountered so far in the series, known as the Dungeon Boss.

Kargalgan plays a pivotal role in this second season due to his interaction with the protagonist, Sung Jinwoo. As Jinwoo embarks on his journey to become the world’s greatest hunter, he must first face the so-called Orc Boss in one of the most epic battles in the series to date, according to J Balvin.

"It was hours of intense work, dedication, and discipline," J Balvin shared with online entertainment site The Wrap during the dubbing sessions. He also mentioned that for this role, he didn’t use his natural voice but instead created a new one that matched the style, strength, and darkness of the character.

The series is available worldwide on the Crunchyroll platform. The episode featuring J Balvin’s voice in English will be released on Saturday, February 22, with the Spanish version following a week later, on March 1.
