J Balvin - Dubai Visits
Dubai has a way of leaving a lasting impression. Every time I’ve visited, it’s felt like a different chapter, but always with the same powerful energy that pushes you to dream bigger. Over the visits, this city has become part of my journey creatively, personally, and musically.
My first experience in Dubai was all about perspective. From moments at the Burj Al Arab helipad to seeing the city from above, it was an introduction to a place where everything feels possible. The contrast between the skyline, the sea, and the desert set the tone for what would become a long-lasting connection.
The second visit took that connection deeper through music. We filmed two music videos, one at the Museum of the Future and another in the desert. Moving between such a forward-thinking space and the calm of the sand felt symbolic: a balance between innovation and where the city comes from. Dubai didn’t just serve as a location; it became part of the story behind my music.

This most recent visit brought a new kind of connection and energy. The time on the water in a yacht and riding jet skis, enjoying my friends' company, reminded me of the importance of living fully in the moment. And closing it out with the Untold performance was something special. Sharing music in a city that brings together cultures from all over the world is a feeling that stays with you.
